With a nod to the past, each plate by the craftsman Mehmet evokes the classic motifs and vibrance of original Iznik ceramics; yet, in itself, offers exclusive compositions and updated color palettes.

Each plate then proves to be a unique endeavor of a craftsman both trying to remain traditional and yet create something new and exciting. This plate, with its exuberant mix of greens, oranges and blues, satisfies this with a strong central motif occupied by a penta-floral medallion in the center, emanating to the edge of the plate.
